In response to the current outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) cases worldwide, Concentra® has proactively implemented measures to ensure preparedness in the event the current situation escalates in the United States.
Concentra has established a multidisciplinary Coronavirus Task Force that includes representation from our Travel Health and Infectious Disease Medical Expert Panel to address the situation and put into effect the following:

- An enhanced clinical triage process to detect, isolate, and escalate potential Coronavirus cases to the local health department and/or emergency department as appropriate. This process is designed both to help provide the best care to any potentially infected patient and to protect other patients and our staff from infection.

- Infection control procedures in place in all Concentra medical centers. First steps include asking every patient about symptoms and travel history, placing a mask on every patient with a cough, and acting quickly when appropriate.
Concentra is working closely with local public health departments and following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines to ensure we remain up-to-date on the situation, have knowledge of the most current guidelines, and are continually reviewing, refining, and implementing our processes in response to changes in the situation.
